For a group nail appointment, send one brief per guest and ask the salon to confirm whether the work can happen together or in stages. A reservation for several people is not automatically a simultaneous start or finish. Agree the branch, services, individual totals and the time the last guest should be ready before building the visit into a group itinerary.

One organiser, separate service briefs
Choose one person to collect the information, but avoid describing the whole group as wanting the same service unless that is true. Use guest labels such as A, B and C instead of sharing unnecessary personal details. Record current product, wanted service, length, design image and any firm finish time for each person. That makes a later change visible without restarting the entire conversation.
An example of a useful group brief
Guest A: bare natural nails, one colour, current length. Guest B: existing gel, removal to discuss, French reference, current length. Guest C: existing extensions, unsure of product, wants extra length and art on two nails. These are example requests, not packages or confirmed recommendations. Attach the corresponding current and reference photos with the same guest labels so the salon can match them correctly.
Parallel, staged or separate: ask which arrangement is offered
Ask how many guests can begin at once and when each remaining guest would start. If hands and feet are requested, clarify whether those services will be consecutive for each guest. The group finish time is when the last required service is complete, not when the first guest is finished. Do not multiply a single-service estimate and assume it describes staffing or capacity.
Set the finish time before choosing a design
For a wedding, dinner or group tour, work backwards from the time everyone must leave the salon. Leave room for the transport and preparation you have arranged separately. Ask the salon to assess whether the full brief fits. If it does not, discuss an earlier visit, staged appointments or revised designs; do not interpret a shorter colour-service estimate as covering extensions and detailed art too.
Keep individual quotes visible
Ask for a separate service breakdown per guest and an explanation of any shared payment arrangements. If one person adds art on arrival, confirm that person’s revised price and time. Before leaving, compare the actual services with the agreed breakdown. Avoid splitting the bill equally by default when the services differ: decide within your group how you want to pay, then ask what the salon can accommodate.
Confirm changes through one clear message
If a guest cancels, changes the design or arrives later, send an updated list and ask what that means for the rest of the schedule. Ask about any deposit or cancellation terms before making a commitment; this guide does not claim a universal salon policy. LENA’s online form accepts a guest count, but the team still needs to confirm the actual arrangement.
Copy this planning structure
“We are [number] guests for [date]. We all need to leave by [time]. A: [starting nails / service / reference]. B: [starting nails / service / reference]. C: [starting nails / service / reference]. Can you confirm the branch, each guest’s quote, the start order, the final finish window and any booking terms?” Replace the labels with only the details needed to arrange the visit.
Questions before you book
Can all guests start at the same time?
Only the salon can confirm current staffing and capacity. Ask for the start order for your actual service list.
Should a group use one design photo?
Use a labelled reference for each guest, or state explicitly which guests share a design and which details differ.
Does a guest-count field reserve simultaneous seats?
No. Treat it as information for the request and ask the salon to confirm the arrangement.
